Is anyone planning on doing a WoW costume besides Merlyn and I anymore? Current Mood: aggravated

Here is a picture or two of the WoW Draenei painting tests done to my leg via sponge AND Airbrish The larger portion of my leg was done with an airbrush and VERY LITTLE paint.

For all of you who rolled a character on Steamwheedle Cartel, here are my characters (at least, the most active ones):
Astryd (70 Nelf Hunter)
Azshand (60 Nelf Hunter)
Faytelin (8 Gnome Warlock)
Kirsnth (38 Draenei Mage)
Fireopal (23 Belf Rogue)
Magnoline (10 Undead Mage)
My other characters are either bank characters or ones I escape to when I want to be alone (which are all like... level 5 XD) Current Mood: crappy

I still can't decide whether or not I want to just do the Succubus or try to get another one done as well. >

How many people are going to need some form of Body paint? It doesn't matter if it is just your hands, feet or eyes. I would like to know colors needed and what areas need painting.
Who would be interesting in sharing the cost of the body paint, Actual body paint? Current Mood: anxious

After raiding Brill last night, I've decided to change which costume I do.
Here's pics. Cut so that it doesn't hurt your LJ.

Lada, I told you I'd get you some pics of a Darnassus Sentinel... these are the lvl 65 guards that stand around in the Night Elf major city. These are just a couple pics... but I'm more than happy to post more.

Night elf, general artwork/CG version.
Patrick, if you're willing to go through with the whole airbrush body painting, I'm all for claiming this one^^ (Otherwise the time it'd take to paint me all the way would suck ass worse than Mandi's Kefka 50x >_<)
Rogue Sets Narrowed Down
So, I've narrowed down my choices for Rogue sets to the following:
1. Dungeon Set 2: Darkmantle
2. Tier 2: Bloodfang
3. Tier 4: Netherblade
4. Tier 5: Deathmantle
What do you guys think? Current Mood: contemplative
Model maker not running
After I download the zip file and export the files, it says it won't run because "Some DBC files could not be loaded. Please make sure you're loading the Locale-xxxx.MPQ file."
The hell does that mean?

Looking for a donor of sorts.....
After much consideration and thinking about the "what if" facter, especially after losing the weight to pull off the costume. I am not sure if I will have any "man boobs" to gather for any type of cleavage so I am looking for a donor of sorts.
Is there anyone (female) that would allow a lifecast of their upper torso?
I know this is a bit much to ask, but I do want to pull this costume off to the "epic" proportions that it deserves.

So, after taking with Becca some, I do believe I'll try out either a Night Elf (either a hunter, or cloth class), though she did suggest trying Lady Sylvanas. Which I would LOVE to do, but is it a little ambitious? Thankfully she's wearing a skirt that has nothing but cloth. But her entire upper body has armor on it, but another thankful is that she has no helmet.
Any suggestions to even start on this idea? To say the least I'm a bit intimidated by it. O.o;
Rogue Sets... FTL.
So, I was looking overthe rogue sets, as I was contemplating being a Roguey McRogue Rogue... and realized they're kinda boring. X D I'm going to look over other sets more in a bit here, but thought I'd give a heads up that I'm probably changing my mind on that one. Current Mood: bouncy
By the way... in the model viewer (since I've been playing with it), you can use your scroll button to zoom in, left mouse button to turn your character around (hold and drag), and right mouse button to move your character wherever you'd like.
My Nemesis set is gonna = win! Current Mood: cheerful
BTW, every one who has signed up to be in the community so far can post in it. I'll try to keep an eye on things so that people who are making WoW (or other MMORPG costumes as the case might be) can post & junk. Current Mood: creative

Here is the WoW Model Viewer: http://www.wowmodelviewer.org/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=35&func=select&id=1
I really dig it. This will probably be a friend to all of us by the end of it. It helps because you can put one piece on at a time. Please note, if your graphics card sucks, the model viewer might be iffy.
Here is the place to find warcraft sets, see what they look like, and get the name of them. I would still use the model viewer since you can manipulate things. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/items/armorsets/
Also, if you have a question, feel free to ask me. I might ask Rhody if I can add a ventrilo channel for us to chat on sometimes... Ventrilo is a chat service (outside of World of Warcraft) that we all can use. I'd have to ask the moderator first though ^.^ But you can check that out at http://www.ventrilo.com
I'll start posting pics when I can get a chance!
